As a Dentist and Owner of Four States Dental Care, as well as throughout his incredible 26 year career, Dr. Kunkel has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.
Four States Dental Care is a general dentistry practice where they work hard to build quality and lifelong relationships with their patients while offering the latest advances in reconstructive and implant dental technology in a, fun, friendly, and inviting environment. They offer their patients offer treatments including Implants, Invisalign, Lumineers, Zoom Teeth Whitening and Sedation Dentistry and Sedation Dentistry.
Dr. Kunkel has been practicing general dentistry since 1984 and he truly loves his profession. He sees dentistry as a great way to challenge himself while also making a positive difference in another person's life. He feels honored to be working with all of the wonderful people who come in and out of the practice, as well as the dedicated team for whom he feels truly blessed to have working with him.
During his educational career, Dr. Kunkel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy, graduating with honors from the University of Texas at Austin and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Baylor College of Dentistry. He served as a pharmacist intern and staff pharmacist at M.D. Anderson Hospital and Tumor Institute as well as a part-time staff pharmacist at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.
Dr. Kunkel is a member of the American Dental Association, Southwest Missouri Dental Society, International Congress of Implantology, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, International Congress of Implantology and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.
