During his educational career, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Kalamazoo College in 1966 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan in 1970. Dr. Jackson is a member of the American Dental Association. He is also a former professional baseball player for the Boston Red Sox.
