Russell has been accepted among the ranks of leading professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of her exceptional effort in the Healthcare Industry. As the President of Progressive Periodontics, as well as throughout her 30 plus years of dental and teaching experience, Dr. Russell has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be among the best.
Progressive periodontics is a specialty practice which provides periodontal care, dental implant surgery and a variety of other dental care services. Among the numerous offerings of the facility are crown lengthening, gum grafting, root resection, periodontal plastic surgery, root coverage, night guards and tooth extraction.
During her educational career, Dr. Russell earned Bachelor's Degrees in both Hygiene and Dental from the Medical College of Georgia as well as a Master's Degree from George Washington University. She also achieved Periodontal Residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She retired from the United States Army where she earned the highly coveted Legion of Merit Medal.
Dr. Russell is affiliated with the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Academy, Georgia Dental Association, North Georgia Dental Society, South Metro Study Club, Thinman Dental Society of Atlanta and Georgia Society of Periodontology. She greatly enjoys golfing in the time away from her busy schedule.
