D. Douglas Cassat has Continued to Provide Outstanding Patient Care throughout his 35-Year Career
Dr. Cassat has devoted his career to improving the health of others as a dentist
SAN DIEGO, CA, December 27, 2010 /Dental PR News/ -- Dr. D. Douglas Cassat, dentist in private practice, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in dental care.
Through 35 years of diligence and hard work, Dr. Cassat has become a seasoned professional in the dental field. In 1978, he drew on three years of experience as an associate dentist to launch his own facility. Now, 32 years later, he has taken on a partner, Dr. Lillian R. Liberto.
By applying his expertise in tooth restoration to his daily tasks, Dr. Cassat efficiently treats dental patients and provides preventive care and restorative procedures, including fillings, tooth whitening, crowns, bridges, porcelain restorations and veneers, and Invisalign orthodontics. His caring nature and devotion to his patients allows him to continuously shine in his industry.
Dr. Cassat earned a bachelor of arts in chemistry and biology from the United States International University in San Diego, Calif. in 1971. He went on to achieve a doctor of dental surgery from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. Throughout his career, he has immersed himself in extramural activities and served as a fellow for the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy. Additionally, he sat on the board of directors of the Dentists Insurance Company, and on the Council on Members Insurance and Retirement Programs of the American Dental Association. During the 1991-1992 year, he devoted his time to directing the San Diego County Dental Society as president.
In addition to his work within the dental field, Dr. Cassat has volunteered in his local community. From 1981 to 1983, he served as president of the Tierrasanta Community Council, and he assumed a position on the Copley Family YMCA Board of Governors from 1985 to 1999. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of the Dan Diego Dental Society and the California Dental Health Foundation. Confident that a bright future lays ahead, Dr. Cassat looks forward to continuing to improve on the quality of care delivered to his patients.
