Frisco Dentist's Sweet Tooth Generates $500 for Frisco Charity
The candy buyback drive led by Dr. De Paoli and Advanced Smiles was a huge success, with a great number of Advanced Smiles patients and local residents giving their time to stop by and drop off their excess candy.
FRISCO, TX, January 29, 2010 /Dental PR News/ -- In October of last year, _a href="http://www.friscofamilysmiles.com/" target="_new"_Frisco dentist_/a_ Dr. Ernest De Paoli owner of Advanced Smiles had a sweet idea when he launched his candy buyback campaign. In a nutshell, the drive worked by asking local residents to bring in all of that excess candy that always seems to be left lying around long after Halloween is over and done with.
For every pound of candy that was dropped off at the Advanced Smiles _a href="http://www.friscofamilysmiles.com/services/" target="_new"_Frisco dental office_/a_, one dollar was paid to the person dropping it off. Advanced Smiles then donated another dollar for each pound of candy to the Frisco Family Services Center. The center is a nonprofit organization focused on helping those in need within the local area by providing social care. The center helps both individuals and families to become valuable members of the community and really give something back. Just like Dr. De Paoli and Advanced Smiles have.

In fact, the campaign was so successful that Dr. De Paoli and Advanced Smiles have been able to donate $500 to the Frisco Family Services Center. Dr. De Paoli is aware of the strain that the current economic conditions are putting on local families and individuals, with an increase of 30% asking for help in the last year alone. But he and Advanced Smiles are proud to be able to do their part for their local community, and give just a little something back to the community that has helped their Frisco dental practice grow and evolve over the years. Of course, thanks must also go to everyone who donated candy to the buyback drive. It is because of generous local residents that the Frisco community is able to thrive.
The $500 will go directly towards helping those members of the community who need it most, and both Advanced Smiles and Dr. De Paoli are looking forward to doing their part once again in the future.
