Local Dentists Attend Implant Symposium
Two Chicago area dentists attend a local dental implant symposium.
/Dental PR News/ - CHICAGO, IL, November 29, 2006 - Ira L. Shapira, DDS, FICCMO, and Mark J. Amidei, DDS, principals of Delany Dental Care, Ltd., Gurnee, attended The 8th Annual Implant Prosthodontic Symposium in Chicago on August 19-21, 2005. The ICOI is the world's largest and well renowned continuing dental implant education provider. Participants were trained in diagnosis, treatment planning and sequence implant restorative treatment from single tooth replacement to full arch prostheses. Dr. Amidei also attended a pre-symposium course on hydraulic sinus condensing, a less invasive technique for rehabilitation of maxillary posterior regions in the presence of anatomical restrictions for dental implant placement. Dr. Leon Chen and Dr. Jennifer Cha conducted the course.
Regular attendance of advanced aesthetic continuing education courses such as the ICOI symposium insure Drs. Shapira and Amidei that they may continue to provide the newest dental procedures to their patients during a period when techniques and technology are advancing dramatically.
